We started Bio-Elite because too many capable, driven people were being told to slow down, accept their limitations, or simply manage their pain. We didn't accept that. Neither should you.
Bio-Elite Training Systems was founded with a simple belief: people deserve a better path back to strength, movement, and long-term physical performance.
For over a decade, Bio-Elite founder Gianni Del Franco worked as a strength and conditioning coach helping individuals improve their health, rebuild strength, and perform at a higher level in their daily lives. Throughout that time, he saw the same pattern repeat itself. People dealing with recurring pain, physical setbacks, or declining strength despite trying everything they were told would help.
Many had completed physical therapy but still didn't feel confident returning to training. Others had gone through medical treatment for joint issues but were never given a clear plan for rebuilding strength afterward. Some had simply been told to slow down or accept that getting older meant giving up the activities they loved.
Bio-Elite was created to challenge that idea. The mission is to provide a structured, intelligent approach to rebuilding physical capability, one that helps people move better, train with confidence, and maintain the strength needed to enjoy the activities that matter most to them.
The goal isn't just fitness. It's helping people build a body that supports the life they want to live.
Bio-Elite doesn't just look different. We operate differently. These five principles guide every coaching decision, client interaction, and program we build.
Physical, mental, and emotional resilience. We build capacity in all three, because lasting performance requires more than a strong body.
Transparency and integrity in coaching. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you. If something isn't working, we'll say it. No false promises, ever.
Ownership of action and results. We hold our clients to a standard, and we hold ourselves to one too. Progress is a shared responsibility.
A safe, growth-oriented environment. Every client comes to us from a different place. We meet them there, without judgment and without assumption.
Intentional, long-term vision. We train people for the life they want to live, not just for the gym. Every program is built with that end goal in mind.
Every coach at Bio-Elite is here because they believe in a higher standard of care. They're assessment-led, data-informed, and genuinely invested in the people they work with.
Gianni founded Bio-Elite Training Systems after more than a decade of working at the intersection of elite athletic performance and real-world human health. His career began working with athletes from the NFL, MLB, and MiLB, as well as triathletes, collegiate volleyball players, and track athletes. Over time, he extended that same level of programming to professionals, business owners, and active adults who wanted structured, intelligent training instead of generic workouts.
He kept seeing the same pattern: people cleared by physical therapy who still didn't feel confident training, people who had undergone medical treatment but were never given a plan for rebuilding strength, and people who were simply told to slow down. Gianni built Bio-Elite specifically to fill that gap.
He holds a Master of Science in Applied Exercise Physiology and has worked with a genuinely diverse range of clients across more than a decade of professional practice. His approach is simple: assess first, build with intention, and coach the person in front of you, not the assumption of who they are.
McKenzie Kruse-Pillsbury serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Bio-Elite Training Systems, bringing a disciplined background in financial advising, investor education, benefits planning, and long-term financial strategy to the company's growth.
She is also a Financial Advisor with LifeTyme Financial, where she specializes in academic, evidence-based investing principles and the training and development of investors. Her work is centered on helping people make financial decisions with clarity, structure, and confidence.
Before stepping into her role with Bio-Elite, McKenzie spent over a decade working in cardiovascular procedures, where precision, preparation, communication, and decision-making under pressure were essential. That experience shaped her ability to think systematically, manage risk, and build processes that support strong outcomes.
As Chief Financial Officer, McKenzie helps ensure Bio-Elite is built on a financial foundation that is structured, sustainable, and aligned with the company's mission. Her leadership supports the long-term vision of Bio-Elite: helping people move from pain to performance through intelligent coaching, purposeful systems, and lasting resilience.
Kiana brings over a decade of experience in strength training and nutritional physiology to Bio-Elite. Her coaching integrates evidence-based resistance training with a deep understanding of metabolism, recovery, and long-term health, so clients build muscle, improve body composition, and support their overall physiology at the same time.
She works with a wide range of individuals, from beginners learning proper mechanics to experienced lifters refining performance, as well as clients navigating hormonal shifts, metabolic plateaus, or returning from injury. Kiana designs structured, progressive programs grounded in biomechanics and applies nutrition strategies that support muscle growth, energy balance, and sustainable results rather than short-term restriction.
As a WBFF Bikini Pro, she combines competitive experience with a science-driven coaching model. She believes real progress comes from aligning intelligent training with strategic nutrition so clients can build strength, resilience, and confidence without extremes.
Paul grew up in a family of teachers in Goshen, Indiana and developed a deep appreciation for education, personal growth, and genuine human connection early in life. He approaches coaching with the same curiosity and intentionality, working to understand each client on a meaningful level before building anything for them.
He brings a diverse skill set developed across a wide range of training environments: group training, youth athlete development, and one-on-one coaching both in-person and online. His clients have included those chasing athletic performance and those simply working toward a healthier, more resilient life. Since joining Bio-Elite in 2024, he has helped countless clients rebuild their bodies, reduce pain, and move with more confidence.
Outside the gym, Paul loves exploring all forms of movement, cooking, and playing any musical instrument he can get his hands on. And yes, he takes his cats on walks.
JJ brings the mindset of a former collegiate volleyball athlete and the expertise of a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist to Bio-Elite Training Systems. Her coaching is built on the same performance principles she lived as a competitor: intentional programming, smart recovery, and developing strength that carries over far beyond the weight room.
Most recently, JJ served as a Sports Performance Coach at Fort Lewis College, where she designed and delivered training programs for lacrosse, men's and women's golf, and women's basketball. Coaching across multiple sports sharpened her ability to meet athletes where they are, adapting training to different movement demands, competitive schedules, injury histories, and long-term goals.
Her programming philosophy centers on progressive, individualized training that blends foundational strength, power, and explosiveness. But JJ's approach goes deeper than sets and reps. She believes training should help people listen to their bodies, move with confidence, and build a sustainable relationship with fitness, not one rooted in punishment, restriction, or short-term output.
JJ also brings a strong understanding of the mental side of performance. She holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership, and her graduate research explored the psychological benefits of strength training for collegiate athletes. That work reflects one of her core beliefs: the weight room is not only a place for physical development, but also a powerful environment for confidence, resilience, and personal growth.
